The Actors Gym HK was founded by four likeminded working Actors from different corners of the industry as a safe, creative space to share knowledge, learn from each other and keep skills sharp. It is a studio where you will refine your craft, hone your skills and practise all aspects of life as a professional actor so that no matter what they throw at you, you’re ready.
With International experience in; Theatre, Film, TV, Commercials, Opera, Stunts (Theatre/Film), Improvisation, Voice-Over, Script Writing (Theatre/Film) and lots of auditions, as well as having worked with some of the best Actors and Coaches in the world, we know what it takes to meet that top professional standard and we’re here to help you get there.

Jai is an English Actor raised in Hong Kong and based between HK and LA.
He has worked in and around the industry for most of his life and has been a full time professional actor working in film, TV, VO and theatre in the US and all over Asia for over a decade and a half. He has worked and trained with some of the best in the Industry.
Jai will be sharing his knowledge and practical tips on Auditioning, On-Camera technique and getting the most out of your scene as well as honest and realistic insights into your work, the industry and life as a working actor.
This is the kind of training and supportive community HK has been missing and we hope to raise the industry as a whole. Jai and the team will make sure you’re ready and know exactly what to do when that big break comes and on every project leading to it.
Davina Cooke
Davina is a multi disciplinary artist from London, UK. She trained as a sound artist and actress in London and Los Angeles. She currently lives in Hong Kong running her own theatre company. She performs monthly in an improv group, devised and directed two shows The Intervention and The Funeral and continues to produce her own work.
She has written two albums with her band which have been inducted to the British Library Sound Archives and toured many cities in the UK and Europe. Davina has also travelled to Singapore, Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Manila Improv Festival and Melbourne Comedy Festival to perform.
Davina's passion to mentor adults comes from her ongoing training in the Meisner Technique and she can't wait to impart her knowledge.
Isaac Droscha
Isaac Droscha is an opera singer, actor, and voice over talent who has performed roles on stage with regional opera companies in the United States and Hong Kong. He also lends his vocal talents to RTHK Radio 3 on a regular basis. He has been singing and performing on stage his entire life and received training at the University of Michigan. He loves the use of the human voice in performance and finding ways to connect it with the body and physical action.
Isaac will be working with you on diction, projection, physicalizing the voice, and finding the rhythm of the text. Isaac is currently a Lecturer in the Humanities division of the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. Isaac is also a very funny member of TBC Improv HK.
